Snow Day

Lots of snow today, with more to come tomorrow according to AccuWeather.  Makes for pretty scenery, but not much incentive to do much work.  But I did get lots done during this last week, so I'm not feeling too bad about not doing much today.

Last week, I finished the lower part of the back pasture fence.  The wire fencing just wasn't cutting it, so we're replacing it with a board fence with electric wire along the inside perimeter.  We also picked up the freezer we ordered from Lowe's two weeks ago.  Now I can buy/slaughter in bulk and have somewhere to store the meat until I can get it all processed/used.  I also picked up three new girl bunnies to breed, which brings me up to 11 girls.  I have enough to start my breeding colonies now!  Yay!

The final coat of polyurethane is on the bathroom floor where the tub is going to be installed.  The baseboards and trim boards are painted and awaiting installation.  Once Danny gets back from AZ, we're going to move the tub into place.  We'll finally have a proper bathroom again!

Yesterday, I made three loaves of bread; today I'm making a double batch of tortillas.  Danny and Giselle got the freezer set up in the basement this afternoon. But most of the day has been spent watching videos and surfing the web.  Hey, it's snowing!  That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

And I still don't have the tin roof on the shed...maybe later.
