Overwhelmed

I made it through my History test. That's about all I accomplished this week.

On the farm front: We're completely out of wood and I am having no end of trouble getting more. Everyone I called was out, except one man...who has failed to show up for three delivery appointments. Explains why he still has wood. I'm trying again for Monday...which means I'm going to have to cut my first class that day, just in case he shows up. We're on a propane back-up heater right now. Expensive stuff, that propane.

Spent all Friday at work being cussed out by everyone and their brother/sister/aunt/uncle. Not fun. Seems that the direct deposits were between banks, but everyone wanted their money NOW. And we were the convenient scapegoats for everyone's frustration and anger. After work, I picked up some coolers, went home, and watched "Mr and Mrs Smith." Watching things blow up when you're mad makes you feel better. And then I slept in.

It's supposed to be warmer the next several days. Maybe I'll thaw out and start feeling like doing something. Maybe I'll even be able to get some of the house cleaned! Right now, I'm on my way into the bathroom to glue rocks. Then I have to write two poems for Creative Writing class on Monday. Sigh.
